Positive: This is my second stay at Hotel BW Mangga Dua. In fact I renewed for an extra week because the value was so good. The staff are excellent - always have a smile and the buffet breakfast is surprisingly good. Stayed in a Junior Suite 3118,- very spacious, great views towards the harbour, good hot water, and aircons, internet reasonable - usual download speed about 18Mbps The hotel has seen better days and is a bit run down and in need of some TLC, but nevertheless is excellent value and a worthwhile experience. Btw a small convenience store in the basement has now opened and does laundry very well and very cheap. A great bonus.

Negative: The local area infrastructure is a bit rough and congested - not good for walking or exploring around, but quite safe. And taxis/Grabs/Bajajs are easy to access.

Summary: Highly recommended
