Summary: We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past 10 years as it is great value for money. We love the location and the roof top swimming pool is fabulous especially as it is never crowded, we are often the only ones there, perfect 👍 The downsides are that if you get a non-balcony room on the street side it is very noisy until about 10:30pm from the bars in the street, the balcony rooms do not have this problem but they are much smaller with a smaller bed, and are slightly more expensive. The hotel is feeling a little tired. The pool loungers have been been slowly breaking over several years and the cushions disappeared years ago so they are not that comfortable. The air conditioning is very noisy and only just cools the room to a comfortable temperature if you run it 24hrs a day, these definitely need replacing. The breakfast options sound great but the quality is just ok, the muesli option was unavailable the entire week we were there, again not too bad for what you pay. We will definitely stay here again and hopefully the hotel will do some much need upgrades in the near future.
