Summary: The room, although clearly beautiful once, was VERY tired and in need of basic maintenance. The thatched roof had visible holes, some floor planks were visibly rotting and crumbled underfoot (perhaps due to water damage from inadequate roof?) All painted surfaces were badly in need of attention. There were disgusting ‘marks’ on the tiles in the shower and I would not use bare-footed. Also found a rotted potato in my bedside table. No fridge (the only room without one in our one-month five-island adventure in Indonesia) and limited amenities. Two shower towels (white) and two beach towels (striped) every day - this was messed up EVERY day. It’s not hard. The pool are was not what was expected; clever photography makes it appear much nicer than it is.
