Summary: This is a cheap, basic hotel not too far from the center of downtown Ambon. Good for experienced Indonesia travelers, though I think enough of the staff speak some English that you can get by if you don't speak Indonesian. The rooms are clean; not very spacious, but you can't beat the price. Good wi-fi by Ambon standards. Breakfast (included in the price of the room) is a sort of bento-box with rice, meat, veggies, and fruit, plus coffee/tea and toast. The location is between two arterial streets. Hotel Stori is actually in the same building as Hotel Everbright, and under the same management, but it's run separately. Access is in an alleyway to the left of the Everbright. There are some good food options nearby--a restaurant and some nasi kuning sellers in the evening. I recommend this place. If you're looking for absolute comfort it may not be for you, but if you want a clean, cheap, convenient place to stay, it's a good option.
