Positive: Stayed at Tuna bay from 17-19th Oct. Had to choose a place near to Universal Divers and Tuna Bay seemed like the nicest place. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I chose the beachfront room and it was clean and comfortable. I had no idea that there was a snorkelling reef at Tuna Bay and it was a pleasant surprise. Snorkels are available to rent for 10MYR/day. There are many fish and coral to see. As it was the end of the season, all other food options were already closed, but Tuna Bay restaurant was great. The small breakfast spread was decent. I’d definitely recommend getting anything from the BBQ for dinner. Had the satay, grilled fish, prawns and was all good. I had multiple fresh coconuts everyday. The bar only opens in the evening but the margarita was great. The service was good.

Negative: Some room for improvement for sure. The resort needs some basic maintenance like painting. There is a vent in the bathroom where bugs can enter the room. Only body wash and shampoo was provided, no conditioner. There were not enough beach umbrellas. Would be nice if we could get food and drink service at the beach. You need to book the water taxi a day in advance which doesn’t leave much room for spontaneity. The timing for boat transfer to the mainland was ok except for a gap between 12 and 4pm.

Summary: Overall I was very happy and would definitely come back.
